Visit The House of Nobility in the Old Town and experience a magnificent Parliamentary meeting hall for the Swedish Nobility and aristocracy dating back to the 17th century.  Today The House of Nobility is still used for the assembly of Nobles, as well as a place for meetings and anniversary celebrations for academies, cultural institutions and Swedish noble families. The beautiful architecture is the result of four architects that all contributed  to the design of the building: Simon de la Vallée, Henrich Wilhelm, Jost Wingboons and Jean de la Vallée.

Admire the interiors of the palace and the 2331 coats of arms adorning the walls in the Great Hall.  The coats of arms are all painted on copper plates and decorated to show the high status and significance of the noble families introduced at the House of Nobility through the years.
