Journey into an invisible world and let your touch, hearing and smell guide you through total darkness when you visit the Invisible Exhibition. This one-of-a-kind interactive experience gives visitors the opportunity to understand what life is like without one of our major senses – sight. You will be led through the exhibition by guides who are themselves visually-impaired.

As you journey through the exhibition, you will be encouraged to focus and rely on your other senses as you experience various every-day life situations such as trying to cross a road, ordering and paying for a cup of coffee or picking the right ingredients for your meal. Different smells, sounds and layout of the ground will affect how you perceive the world around you as you walk through the exhibition without relying on your sight.

Once you’ve journeyed through the exhibition, you will be able to learn about the different devices and objects used by visually-impaired people in their daily life, such as talking clocks, braille typewriters and talking scales.
