The Riddarholmen Church is famously the necropolis church where many Swedish Kings and Queens are buried. Built in the 13th century, Riddarholmen Church is also the only monastery from the middle ages to have survived in Stockholm. Visitors can enjoy a guided tour of this historic church to learn about the rich past of the famous royals buried in its grounds.

When you visit the Riddarholmen Church you can join a guided tour to learn more about the church and the royalties buried there. See the graves of Gustav II Adolf, Gustav V as well as Magnus Ladulås and Karl Knutson Bonde for a well-rounded royal historical education. The church is open to the public during summertime but there are also classical and Gregorian music concerts held at the church throughout the year.
