Visit the heart of Swedish Empire and the first town of Sweden, Sigtuna, on a majestic boat tour through the historic royal waterways of Lake Mälaren. Once you’ve arrived in Sigtuna, you can enjoy a free guided tour of the historic ruins, churches and picturesque streets of this ancient town, complete with traditional wooden buildings dating back to the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries.

After you’re guided tour of Sigtuna, you’ll have time to stop off for a coffee or a meal at the local traditional restaurants and cafes, as well as visit some local galleries and shops before heading back to Stockholm.

Note: Tour run by Strömma Kanalbolaget. To go on a sightseeing tour by boat you will need to pick up your free ticket at the Strömma ticket booth at the dock where the tour departures from. You are not able to pre-book tours with the Stockholm Pass.

If the ticket booth is closed please go directly to the boat and show your valid Stockholm Pass to the staff onboard. Subject to availability.

During the summer it is a good idea to visit the ticket booth early the same day to collect your sightseeing tour ticket. Sometimes there are a lot of visitors and some tours may be full during the high season.
If you do not get a ticket to one of the tours you hade planned you can ask for tickets to the next tour the same day.
