Enjoy a free boat tour to the historic Skokloster Castle, one of Stockholm’s most impressive historic baroque monuments built in the middle of the 17th century, by the shores of Lake Mälaren. It used to be the largest private mansion in Sweden, owned by Count Carl Gustav Wrangel, who collected art, antiquities and nature specimens, still see on show today in exhibitions in the rooms of the house.

Skokloster Castle has been preserved and restored and remains the same as it did in its heydays of the 17th – 19th century with exquisite examples of period architecture, collections, décor, furniture and textiles from centuries ago. Learn about these historic buildings on a guided tour and walk around the baroque grounds and gardens before returning to Stockholm by boat.
