The Thiel Gallery is a must-visit for any art aficionado. It’s considered one of the finest art galleries in Sweden and houses a fine art collection from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including Eugène Jansson, Carl Larsson, Bruno Liljefors, Edvard Munch, August Strindberg and Anders Zorn.

Admire the architecture of the building in elegant Jugend style, and the beautiful interiors with furnitures and details from the same period. Sculptures by August Rodin and Gustav Vigeland adorn the surrounding park. Café Monika Ahlberg is situated in the middle of the museum, with out-door seating in the summer. Temporary exhibitions are presented year-round.

Helga Henschen - Anniversary Exhibition

A multi-disciplinary artist blending the themes of politics with humour, Helga Henschen's is one of the most popular and famous Swedish artists of the post-war era. This exhibition celebrates the artist's 100th anniversary and is the most comprehensive retrospective since her death. Featuring works from the 1940s to the 1990s, including figurines, self-portraits, terracotta sculptures, paintings, illustrations and more.
